Armed robber steals $20K from check-cashing trade in north Charlotte, police say


An armed suspect were given away with $20,000 after robbing the PLS Test Cashers at North Tryon Side road and West Sugar Creek Street Tuesday evening, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police stated.

Six other people, together with workers and shoppers, had been inside of at about 9:30 p.m. when the theft came about in north Charlotte. The sufferers advised police a tender guy walked in dressed in all black. They stated he pointed a gun, took the money, and bumped into the woods.

Charlotte resident Mikhal Ochoa stated he has visited the PLS location a couple of instances and hopes the armed robber is captured.

Any person robbed the PLS Test Cashers on North Tryon Side road at gunpoint Tuesday, police stated.

“There must be cameras in there,” he stated.
